1967 Alfa Romeo T33_Sebring 12 hours
For the 1967 Sebring 12 hours in early April, Autodelta entered two of the Tipo 33 Periscopica cars - numbers 65 and 66 - in the 2 litre Sports Prototype class. They were up against Ford Mk IVs, two Chapparals and Ferrari 365P2/3 and 250LMs in the P+2.0 class, plus Ford GT40s in the P5.0 class.
More direct competition within the same P2.0 class was provided by a gaggle of Ferrari Dino 206s, Porsche 906 and 910s. Neither of the T33s managed to finish, the #66 entry out with ignition failure while the #65 car suffered with suspension issues.
The car illustrated is the #65 entry and was driven by Andrea de Adamich and Autodelta chief test driver - Teodoro Zeccoli
