Alfa Romeo P3. Indianapolis 500 1947.
In late 1935/36 Ferrari sold a number of the surplus P3s to private customers. This one found its way to New York and subsequently, after World War 2, was entered in the 1947 Indy 500. By now the car was owned by Don Lee - a Californian entrepreneur and racing enthusiast, who entered the car as the Don Lee Special - driven by Ken Fowler. The car was DNF.
