250 GTO chassis #3413GT
As evidenced by the low serial number (actually the 3rd ever GTO chassis built), this was originally a series I bodied car and passed through a number of Italian owners before Corrado Ferlaino of Napoli bought the car in December 1963.
After shipping back to Maranello, the car was re-bodied in series II style for the ’64 season - without the roof spoiler.
Ferlaino used the car in various Italian race meetings throughout 1964. The car illustrated here finished 5th overall and 1st in GT3.0 in the 1964 Targa Florio, driven by owner Corrado Ferlaino and Luigi Taramazzo.
