1992 Jaguar XJR-14.
At the end of 1991, having won both the drivers' and manufacturers' World Championships, TWR/Jaguar decided not to contest the '92 series and shipped the 3 XJR-14 chassis across to the USA to compete in the IMSA Camel GTP championship with sponsorship from existing US partner Bud Light.
The car was highly competitive in the early part of the season, with GTP class victories at Daytona, plus outright wins in Mid-Ohio and Road Atlanta, but fell behind the Toyota engined Eagle, eventually finishing third in the championship.
The car illustrated here is the 1992 Road Atlanta winning car, driven by Davy Jones.
